Hi there! We’re Soraya and Ellie - and together, we make the Sorayraya team!

Sorayraya all began with my passion for alternative fashion, and a desire to create. In the early days, I began by making decoden phone cases at my bedroom desk. As my products became more and more popular, I expanded my range to include more accessories like sunglasses and jewellery. I did all this whilst maintaining two jobs, looking after my fur babies Nala and Bagheera, and binge-watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

In 2020 things really kicked off for my business, with a stall at DragCon UK and hitting a milestone number of sales on my Etsy store. With business booming, I was able to quit my other jobs to take on Sorayraya full time, and I haven't looked back since!

Now operating at a separate studio (with pink walls and flooring of course), and more orders flooding in than ever, I was able to take on Ellie as my assistant to keep orders flying out the door on time. 

When we aren't busy working hard on hand-crafting orders, you’ll find us listening to a True Crime Podcast, watching Drag Race, or jamming out to the 1975. All whilst keeping it real, staying sassy, and cuddling cats.
